nitch is a wonderful little extension which adds a great many extra options to the "Get Info" window in the finder. These include the ability to toggle the Name Locked, INITED, Bundle, Invisible, Shared, Use Custom Icon, and No INITS flags simply by clicking in the get info window. Flags can be changed on multiple files at once with change all or selected commands. Even invisible files can be made visible by selecting the folder they are in and using the Make Visible plug-in.
n top of this, the program allow you to change Type and Creator codes as well as store your own frequently used ones in menus. You can also change the size of the Resource and Data Forks in files (NOT ADVISABLE unless you know what's what) so that you can 'FAT Strip' large FAT applications into normal 68k only ones.
ven more little extras are the ability to change modification and created dates, view picture previews on graphics files , view Stuffit comments and view text previews.
